Privacy Policy

In short
We collect the minimum needed to run the service. No ads, no selling of data, no cross-site tracking, and only one cookie — the one that keeps you signed in.
What we collect
- Email address — only when you sign in; used for login links and nothing else.
- Your planner inputs and saved plans (children's age bands, outing times, preferences). Age bands are generic ranges — we never ask for children's names or birthdays.
- Feedback you submit.
- Payments are handled entirely by Stripe; we never see or store card numbers.
- Approximate location: the coordinates or address you search. They're used to query data sources and cached without any link to your identity.
- Standard server logs (IP address, user agent) for security and rate limiting, retained briefly by our host Cloudflare.
Cookies and similar technologies
- One essential cookie: a session cookie that keeps you signed in for up to 90 days (HttpOnly, Secure). It contains a random identifier only.
- No advertising, analytics or third-party tracking cookies — which is why the site shows no cookie banner.
- localStorage on your device stores preferences (language, selected age bands, an invite code) — never sent anywhere except as your own settings.
- Traffic statistics use Cloudflare Web Analytics (cookie-free, aggregate) and server-side counters that contain no user identifiers.
AI processing
When you create a plan, the outing parameters (places found nearby, ages, times, weather) are processed by AI models running on Cloudflare Workers AI, and — where configured — Anthropic, OpenAI or Google APIs. We do not use your data to train models.
Who else receives data
- Cloudflare — hosting, database, caching, email delivery, analytics, AI (all site traffic passes through Cloudflare).
- Stripe — payment processing when you buy credits.
- Data sources answering your searches receive only the coordinates/text needed: OpenStreetMap/Nominatim, Open-Meteo (weather), government event feeds, and Amap for searches inside mainland China.
Retention and deletion
Account data is kept while your account is active. Email support@littleoutings.today from your account address to have your account and associated data deleted; we honor access, correction and deletion requests under Japan's APPI and similar laws (e.g. GDPR).
Children
The service is for parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; the only child-related data are the anonymous age ranges parents select.
Changes and contact
We'll announce material changes to this policy on the site. Questions: support@littleoutings.today.
